Don't forget about North Reading Parks & Recreation's Hot Shot Contest, Wednesday, January 2, Grades 2-8 (see times below) Basketball enthusiasts get ready for a little competition and lots of fun. Hot Shot challenges a basketball player’s speed, shooting and rebounding ability. Each player will have two one-minute rounds to shoot from "hot spots".

Certificates and prizes will be awarded. Players will compete in grade level. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! Program will only run if minimum registration is met prior to start time.  (Walk –ins will only be allowed if space is permitting) Call 978-664-6016 or log onto www.northreadingma.gov to register.

Date: Wednesday, January 2, 2013,

Time: 2–3 p.m. for Grds 2-3,

         3-4 p.m. for Grds 4–5, 4-

         5- 6 p.m. for Grds 6-8.
