The North Reading Black Belt Club performed at Ipswich River Park on Saturday as part of the "Crafts in the Park" event held by Parks and Rec. We were honored to be invited to participate and the kids did a fantastic job.
It takes a lot of courage to get up in front of a group of strangers and perform. I am so proud of how the Black Belt Club, under the supervision of Sensei Luke, prepared and invented this demo all on their own.
With the Black Belts at the forefront of planning, it was a great demonstration. Not only does it take courage, but it takes a leader and leadership qualities to be apart of this invitation only club. It is more than just martial arts, its a way of preparing for life and its challenges - are you a leader or a follower? This Black Belt club has proven that they are all Leaders. - Sensei Janice - Cerizzis@aol.com.
