“Who’s on first?” is a famous baseball line from the comedy duo of Abbott & Costello. Sadly enough, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello are long gone, but this entertaining feline duo will keep you laughing and smiling. This look-alike pair are not related, but they have formed an instant bond. They were abandoned to the streets and met each other for the first time at their foster home. Within minutes of arrival, they both settled right in, like they always lived there.
Their slapstick comedy show mixes lots of play time with interludes for naps. They adore playing with each other. If they could talk, they would probably say, “Don’t split us up.”
Both cats are affectionate, great with kids and other cats. They haven’t met dogs yet, but their foster mom believes they would adjust to a dog in no time due to their fun personalities. Abbott & Costello just love to be loved upon. They are both confident and well behaved and have adjusted well to living a simple and loving life indoors rather than one on the challenging and formidable streets.
They have good litter box behavior, no issues there. Both boys are very well mannered with no growling, hissing or scratching, just the perfect cats. They are about eight months old, with smoky-gray fur.
Where they differ: Abbott really loves to interact. His foster mom calls him the party boy because he likes to be part of all the action. He’s a fun cat who is always on the move, curious and energetic. In the morning, when the foster mom enters their room, he always runs to her for some love. He has lots of toys and never gets tired of using them. Costello is more laid back. He is a sweet, calm, affectionate young cat. Every morning he greets his foster mom with a sweet cry and lots of purrs. He has a gentle soul and his activity level is medium, and yes he loves to play with all his toys but also enjoys a good catnap.
If you are looking for two sweet, playful and loveable cats who can entertain each other while you are away, then having this team in your home will feel like you hit a home run.
