Reading Art Association Spring Show a Huge Success

The Reading Art Association held its annual Spring Show this past weekend. We had many works of art, floral arrangements, and even free samples of great chocolate from The Chocolate Truffle. We had live music played by Lucida Ellert and crowds of people who came to see it all.

The RAA paired up with the Garden Club this year to put on a display of six paintings along with six floral arrangements designed to echo the shapes and colors in the paintings. The results were very impressive.

The music was lively, the refreshments were excellent, and the art was superb. I hope you didn't miss this one, but if you did you can look forward to our Fall show next November. We have one more event this season, which is our annual Dinner Meeting in June. Then, we all take the Summer off to paint and get ready for next year.
