Elections for the Senate are held every 2 years, with about a third of the Senate being up forRead More re-election each time. A primary election is usually held in which each party runs several senatorial candidates to determine the one that will run in the general election. Hello Monica, I am going to volunteer with the Wakefield/Lynnfield rail trail group that is going toRead More begin soon. I would also be very, very interested in helping NR/R as much. Being from Lynnfield, sort of in the middle. From what I see, this railroad might follow the Ipswich river. If it did, imagine a bike/walking path following that river to Middleton, which would hook up to Lynnfield and eventually Wakefield. That is about 12 miles at least of good scenery. As far as people in the back yard, Rail Trails actually increase the property value and in NR, I just don't see any trouble with bad kids much like people on trails in Saugus/Lynn have to deal with. Thanks all for your interest.

Pleasant Valley Farms in Methuen has a wonderful CSA program. We look forward to joining every year.Read More We also enjoy Spence Farm in Stoneham famers market as well as the one in Wilmington. Spence Farm does have a winter farmers market.

I don't belong to a CSA, but there is a great small farm in Andover on 133 west of downtown, thatRead More has a farm stand. I don't remember the name of it unfortunately, but I stop there frequently after work to get fresh veggies. They are only open late spring to fall, no winter market. I really think it is important to support our local farmers and the vegetables taste so good fresh!

The best books I've read in the past 6 months are definitely "Water for Elephants" by SaraRead More Gruen, and "The Help" by Kathryn Stockett. Both great, gripping stories with interesting settings. I still miss Harry Potter.
