Starbucks parking lot entrance is a mess. The road needs to be repaired. I'm told this is a private Read Moreway. Why should the owners on the street have to pay to fix damage caused by customers and delivery trucks entering Starbucks and BOA?!

The parent company laid off several editors, so my guess is that's why. Many Patch sites have justRead Moreb een posting generic links having nothing to do with the town they're supposed to cover unfortunately.

Mr. LaFond, There is no shortage of heroes, but there is a shortage of fires. Some studies showRead More40+% reduction in the number of fires since 2000. These bills would create rules for everyone in order to accommodate the exceptions (many, many houses but significantly few fires). Not wise to create broad-based rules just for exceptions...

Don't forget that the School Committee just voted on Mon to send to town meeting a proposal for aRead More$3 0 million "early learning center" in RMHS parking lot. This early learning center would be only for pre-K and K. Some other cities and towns also have or are building such centers these days, but it will still be as costly and as big as a new elementary school. Can our town afford BOTH of these projects? Would you have voted for the library in the first place had you known a $30 mil school project would be coming down the pike within a year?

I think drivers need to get back to driving, be better drivers. There are too many traffic lightsRead Moreal ready in a short span of route 28. Maybe the better solution is right turn only? If the traffic light was controlled by a weigh plate, it might not be too bad. But, I still don't like the idea of another traffic light!

Having it controlled by a weight plate is a more realistic plan than thinking drivers will improve. Read More There is too much speeding along with too many distractions like talking on cell phones or even texting. I have always driven defensively but it's getting more and more difficult in these "me first" times. If people can't be more careful and courteous when driving then I think safety results in a better outcome, continued life.

There are not enough cross walks. 28 is super busy. There needs to be a cross walk near theRead MoreStarbu cks and BOA on 28. Especially with the Perfecto's going in. I don't think people pay much attention that end of 28 between Bagel World going up to Calareso's.
