The Kristin M. Callahan Foundation 4th Annual BBQ is a great place to mingle with friends and other people in the community to raise awareness for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM). Entry to the BBQ is $30 per person (kids are free) and we will have music, games, and lots of food! Please come out and support our cause!!
Who we are?
The Kristin M. Callahan Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization formed in memory of Kristin, working to help improve the awareness, diagnosis, and treatment of heart disease, primarily Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) in young people. We also positively impact our community through scholarships, donations, and other charitable activities.

More About Ipswich River Park
This former farmland was slated for development in the 1990s until the town of North Reading acquired the property by eminent domain in 1992. It now boasts two miles of paved walking trails that line the Ipswich River and circle the park, which includes baseball and softball fields, skate park, basketball courts, tennis courts, street hockey rink, and soccer fields. A picnic area and gazebo greet visitors as they enter the park, and tables and benches are located along the trails throughout the park. A canoe launch also is available, with parking for boaters on Central Street. All pets must be leashed and all animal waste must be picked up and disposed of in a trash receptacle.
