The stage version of the ’80s hit film, which starred Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda, "9 to 5" is a triumph of comedy, female empowerment and good old country music.
The story sees three secretaries rebel against their sexist boss Franklin Hart, kidnap him and begin running the office themselves. In a hilarious turn of events, Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy - giving their boss the boot! While Hart remains “otherwise engaged,” the women give their workplace a dream makeover and rise to the top of the company that once looked at them as second-class citizens... A girl can scheme can't she?
