Reading Public Library's annual Vehicle Day, a fun event for children of all ages to interact with fire engines, police vehicles, and big working trucks, welcomes a special guest this year: the L.L.Bean Bootmobile. As part of L.L.Bean's 100th Anniversary celebration, the outdoor retailer created the L.L.Bean Bootmobile, a larger-than-life sized vehicle in the form of the iconic Bean Boot. The 13-foot-high Bootmobile will attend this year's Vehicle Day to inspire people to spend more time outdoors.

Visitors to the Bootmobile will have the opportunity to support the National Park Foundation. Anyone who takes a photo with the L.L.Bean Bootmobile and shares it through L.L.Bean's social channels will support the National Park Foundation as part of L.L.Bean's Million Moment Mission. For every outdoor moment shared, L.L.Bean will donate a dollar to NPF, up to $1 million.

In its anniversary year, L.L.Bean is on a year-long mission to re-ignite America's love of the outdoors. The company's founder Leon Leonwood believed that spending time outdoors was fundamental to happiness in life and it is this belief that still continues to drive the company in all that it does, 100 years later. L.L.Bean's anniversary programs are designed to preserve the outdoors for the next generation and create exciting new outdoor experiences for everyone.
