Residents Asked to Attend Wednesday Zoning Public Hearing

Wednesday's public hearing is the first of several scheduled over the next year.

Reading town officials are looking to update the Zoning Bylaw in its entirety, and they're looking for resident help to do so.

According to information on the town website, Reading is looking to do a comprehensive update on its entire Zoning Bylaw in an effort to make it "more user friendly for residents, property and business owners in Reading."

On Wednesday, officials will hold a public forum to discuss several zoning topics. The session, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. inside the Senior Center at 49 Pleasant Street, is the first of several that will take place over the next year.

In addition, a website for the project will be coming soon. Any residents with questions can contact Staff Planner Jessie Wilson by telephone at (781) 942-6648 or by email at jwilson@ci.reading.ma.us.
