School Committee Back to Work on Monday

Here are five things to start your Monday in Reading.

1. Happening Monday: The Reading School Committee holds a 7 p.m. meeting, though they aren't the only board in town on Monday. The Community Planning and Development Commission gathers at 7:30 p.m. and the Housing Authority is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. session.

2. Rockets in Action: A pair Reading High School teams are in action to kick off the week. The boys soccer team hosts Arlington at 3:45 p.m. while the girls soccer team travels to Arlington at 3:45 p.m.

3. Fall Feeling: According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will settle in at 65 degrees to begin the week in Reading. Skies will be sunny throughout on the autumn-like day.
