Food Drive - Eagle Scout Project - Saturday, September 7 - Old South Church

Drew Kachmar, a boy scout with Troop 702 in Reading is leading a food drive to benefit the Reading Food Pantry on Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Old South Church, 6 Salem Street, Reading.   Food or cash donations can be dropped off  in front of the church during that time.  This food drive is part of Drew’s eagle project, which also includes building a bin to collect food donations at the Reading Market Basket supermarket for donations.  You may have seen the temporary box that has been there since March and the food donations collected there are a huge help to the Reading Food Pantry.  Please come by and help him reach his goal of becoming Eagle.
