Rick Ciolino Joins First Financial Trust, N.A. as Investment Officer

(Wakefield, MA) – Rick Ciolino of Gloucester has joined First Financial Trust, N.A., a fully owned subsidiary of The Savings Bank, as an Investment Officer in the Bank’s Main Office at 351 Main Street in Wakefield. First Financial Trust, headquartered in Wellesley, Massachusetts, with offices in Wakefield and Leominster, Massachusetts, specializes in investment management, financial planning, trust administration, and corporate profit sharing plans.

Rick joined First Financial Trust with more than 25 years of experience within the investment management and banking industries, most recently with People’s United Bank Wealth Management in Beverly where he was Vice President and Portfolio Manager. In this position, he was primarily responsible for managing private-client and nonprofit investment portfolios. Prior to that, Rick was a Trust Investment Officer at the Cape Ann Savings Bank in Gloucester where he managed the private-client and nonprofit investment portfolios for the bank’s Trust and Investment Division. He also worked for Derby Capital Management in Newton as an Investment Analyst and Assistant Portfolio Manager.

            Rick received his Master’s degree in Business Education from Suffolk University and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Framingham State University. He received his NASD Series 7 and Series 66 certificates and has completed Level II of the Chartered Financial Analyst exam.

            His professional affiliations and associations include membership in the Essex County Estate and Planning Council, Beverly Rotary Club, Board of Directors of the Cape Ann YMCA where he served as President, and the AGH Citizens Fund.
