Church Clock Tower to Tick Again on Tuesday

Time stood still for about six months. But on Tuesday, the clock tower at the Old South Church will get back to work.

According to a report in the Daily Times Chronicle, the clock that sits atop the church will be inspected, wound and restarted on Tuesday after it was shut down about six months ago due to a number of repairs that needed to be completed.

Donations are still needed to help pay for repairs to the clock tower, which the Daily Times Chronicle reported total about $130,000.
