The Forgotten Unitarian Capital of The World!!
"The Forgotten Unitarian Capital of The World!!"
UU History and Heritage Service
Rev. Tim Kutzmark
9:15 AM and 11:00 AM
Unitarian Universalism has a long, rich, exciting, and mostly forgotten history. Today, we’ll look back to the 1600s in, of all places Poland, where a little city named Rakov grew to be the Unitarian capital of Europe and of the world!! The tale of its swift rise and terrible fall is filled with intrigue, bloodshed, and betrayal. Don’t worry—this history lesson won’t be a bore. Our Coming of Age Class (9th Grade) will present a short skit as part of today’s service.
