Lilo the Bunny Will Hop Right Into Your Life

Lilo Bunny is waiting for you at PAWS.

Sniff, sniff, sniff…..hello nice person.  My name is Lilo and I am a one-year-old mini lop eared bunny who really likes people.  And people seem to like me, too.  I guess it is because I am quite cute with my hanging ears, beautiful harlequin markings, and sweet, twitchy, bunny nose.  Rabbits just don’t get much cuter than I am, if I do say so myself.  You might think I am a bit biased.  But really, I am just a very happy and social boy who enjoys life and dreams of a wonderful home.

So, you are asking yourself: Why do I need a bunny in my life?  Well, I am just a bundle of pure joy.  My favorite thing to do is to stick my nose out of my cage and ask to be patted.  Whenever anyone is around, this is what I do.  I also like to play.  There are toys in my cage and I throw them around in fun.  When they let me out into a room, I love to hop around.  I can be quite energetic.  So if you were to adopt me, you could build me all kinds of fun mazes and boxes and I could hop around in them.  I would like that because the other thing about me is that I love to explore.  Put me down and I will check out the entire place, sniffing and hopping and inspecting the room.

When I am not hopping, exploring, and playing, I enjoy relaxing.  I love to be stroked and petted, as I already mentioned.  And you can pick me up.  While sometimes I can be wiggly (as bunnies often are), at other times I just melt into your arms.  I think I would do that more and more once we got to know each other.

I feel I am a lucky bunny to be at PAWS.  I was found wondering on the street and that is not a safe situation for a pet bunny like me, especially a young one.  PAWS took me in and concluded that I was certainly someone’s pet because I am litter trained.  No mistakes for me.  Anyway, that is a silly thing to discuss.  More importantly, I want you to know that if you see me asleep with twitchy ears, it is because I am dreaming of having my own people and my own home forever, and ever.

If you are looking for a bunny, I am your guy.  And if you never thought about adopting a bunny into your life, think about it now.  You could not do better than me.  I am the best rabbit around, so let’s meet and discuss our future.  My nose is already twitching in anticipation.
