Missing Dog Frankie Spotted in Reading

Frankie has been spotted in Reading.

The missing Shepherd/American Shaffordshire Terrier has been missing for three months, but volunteers with Granite State Dog Recovery have not given up hope.

Frankie has been seen over the past three months in Wakefield, which is where she initially became lost. 

However, the thunderstorms and fireworks of last week may have spooked Frankie away from Wakefield. A Reading Patch reader recognized Frankie in his backyard by the photo on Patch and contacted Granite State Dog Recovery.

The spotting in the Franklin Street area of Reading was about 2 ½ miles from where Granite State Dog Recovery saw her on camera.
