If you want to practice the course, start at the intersection of Prescott and Washington Streets and continue up Prescott. Turn left on Hillcrest, right on Oak, left on Pine Ridge, left on South and stay straight onto Walnut. Turn left on Summer, right on Prescott and finish on Washington just before Washington Park.

Justin Martel from the Reading Police Department and Lori Haverty from the Reading Athletic Club are the race directors.

"The Fall Street 5K has become a very special race for Reading. It brings the community together and starts off the Fall Faire and it is a good course," Martel said.

The event will happen whether it's raining or sunny. Pick up your bib number and registration package on the Saturday before the race at the Reading Athletic Club. You can also pick it up at Washington Park on the day of the race between 8 and 9:30 a.m.

"The race is a healthy way to start your day and have some fun with your friends. My favorite part of the race is seeing the droves of runners coming down Summer Avenue onto Prescott Street toward the finish line," Haverty said.

Registration can be completed online through under the Events Tab on the main Faire website. Contact fallstreetfivek@gmail.com for more information.
