Snowstorm Expected to Start Thursday Morning

Greater Boston will be spared the worst of the snowfall.

The snowstorm headed toward New England may make travel treacherous on Thursday, but Greater Boston won’t see the worst of the snowfall.

The National Weather Service is predicting 2-4 inches of snow for Reading.

Snow should begin Thursday morning and change over to sleet and freezing rain on Thursday afternoon and evening. Winds will be 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph so power outages are possible.
