Timeline Established for West Street Construction

The 1.9-mile stretch of road will be under construction for about two years.

According to a report in the Daily Times Chronicle, a timeline has been established for the West Street Roadway Reconstruction program, which has been delayed in the past.

The newspaper reported that at last week's Board of Selectmen meeting, a memo from Town Engineer George Zambouras alerted board members that construction will start this spring after it is advertised on December 7. The project will cost $6,650,667.

Construction, which will take place on a 1.9-mile stretch of road in between Woburn, Reading and Wilmington, is slated to last for approximately two years, the Daily Times Chronicle reported.
