Where is the Best Trick or Treating in Reading?

Halloween is Thursday and we asked Facebook readers where the best neighborhoods are to bring the kids.

Thursday is October 31, and the streets of Woburn will be jammed with children and families in Halloween gear. But where is the best place in the town to Trick or Treat? We turned to you for the answer.

We asked our readers where the best neighborhoods are for Trick or Treating through the Reading Patch Facebook page.

Here is a sampling of the answers you provided:

Kathy Tompkins: I don't like this new way of traveling to Trick or Treat! Keep the cars off the road and Trick or Treat right in your neighborhood, in my humble opinion.

Mark W. Lefavour: Libby Ave. It's a dead end so it's safe for kids and the traffic isn't crazy and there are lots of side streets, which equals lots of candy.

Cathy Dunham Juliano: I agree with Kathy. The side street neighborhoods get hit hard and can't provide enough candy!

Marie Berrios: I loved living on Middle Street and seeing all the kids.

Jimmy Medeiros: Tennyson Circle, but especially any streets off of Forest and Pearl.

Charlene Bazarian: Balsam Road to see Blinky the Talking Pumpkin.

Erin Keaney Noonan: Summer Ave. Sidewalks on both sides plenty of houses for miles.

Where do you Trick or Treat with your family? What are your favorite Halloween memories? Let us know in the comments section below. Happy Halloween!
