Last Minute Gift Idea

Sights of Reading Calendar Supports the Community!

The recipient of the beautiful “Sights of Reading” calendar will be thinking of you all year long as they view the photos from around Reading.  Hollingsworth Field, Old South Church, Town Forest, Reading Post Office, and Meadowbrook are a few of the locations showcased in the 11” x 17” hanging calendar.  Each month features an 8.5” x 11" photograph.

The proceeds raised from the calendar sales will benefit Gold Award community service projects.  The Gold Award is the highest and most prestigious award any Girl Scout can earn.  The projects involve many hours of work and are meant to make a mark on the community that creates a lasting impact on lives of others.

The purchase of a calendar truly supports the Reading community.  While the Reading teen Girl Scouts will be using the proceeds towards their community service projects in the community, The Hitching Post and Gregory’s Deli have been very supportive in being distribution points for the calendars this fall.  The Graphics Shop of Reading printed the calendars while the Reading Co-operative sponsored the teen Girl Scout’s booth at the Reading Street Faire.  Numerous Reading businesses including Sanborn Place Home Care and Day Services, Grumpy Doyle's Restaurant, AV Spectrum, Lee Kimball, Salon Muffie, Tierney Chiropractic, Attorney Timothy J. Kelley,  Atty. Rick Carter of Carter Closings, The Olde Redding Butcher Shop and The Reading Patch sponsored the printing and advertising of the calendar.

They sell for $12 each or two for $20.  For further information, you may email info@calendarofreading.com or call 781 789-6774.

A great holiday gift becomes two gifts in one!  A beautiful gift for the recipient and a donation to the community service projects at the same time.  Don’t miss out on this great calendar that is becoming an annual tradition for many.
