Get Cookies, Support the Flint Memorial Library

Join the Flint Memorial Library at its first Cookie Walk this Sunday during the Holiday Tree Lighting.

It's that time of year — Christmas Cookie Season!

Everyone gets into the spirit, even that person who doesn't really bake but puts chocolate candy melts on pretzels and thinks of it as a fancy cookie.

And this year, you can grab some cookies and help support the Flint Memorial Library at the same time! The Friends of the Flint Memorial Library are sponsoring the first-ever Cookie Walk at the library this Sunday, Dec. 1, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the activity room as part of the town's Holiday Tree Lighting Festival

So while you're waiting for the tree to be lit, you can warm up, purchase a box and fill it up with delicious cookies made by your neighbors. For the kids, a free holiday craft will be available, thanks to the Friends and the North Reading Moms & Tots Group

Follow the Library on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date on events and information.
