Arrest Made in Weekend TD Bank Robbery

Reading Police announced on Wednesday that they arrested Timothy Doyle, of Wilmington, and charged him with robbing TD Bank on Saturday.

Reading Police announced on Wednesday afternoon that they made an arrest in connection with an unarmed robbery that took place at TD Bank over the weekend.

According to a press release, police departments in Reading and Wilmington combined to arrest Timothy Doyle, 30, of 1 Kelley Street, Wilmington. He is charged with unarmed bank robbery, police said.

Police believe that Doyle walked in to TD Bank on Main Street and slipped a note to the teller demanding money. In total, Doyle allegedly made off with at least $6,000, according to police.

Following Saturday's bank robbery, police said they were looking for a man who was described as about 5'9" and between 25-35 years old. The teller who was handed the note said the suspect had "gross" teeth.
