Reading Art Association is holding its Fall Exhibit and Sale this coming weekend, beginning with the Reception Friday evening, November 8, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The show is open all weekend as well, Saturday, November 9, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday, November 10, 12:30-3:30 p.m. At the reception there will be live music and refreshments as well as lots of art to view.

The show is in the Guild Hall of the First Congregational Church of Reading. Directions to the show and other information are available on our web site, http://www.readingart.org/fall2013.shtml.

The Reading Art Association Spring and Fall exhibits have for years had the privilege of displaying the best art work in the region. Many professional, world-class artists display their work in our shows. Our Fall show is one of the first big events of the holiday season.

In addition to the main art show, we have a "Small Treasures" display with paintings and other art works that are limited in price to $100 or less. We have a display of hand made cards and unframed art work as well. A beautiful oil painting by Leda Sullivan will be raffled at the show. You can see a photo of the painting on our web page.

Reading Art Association is a non-profit organization that has been supporting the arts in Reading since 1958. The show is always free and open to the public. Come for a minute or come for a day, just don't miss it.

Please visit our web site for more news and events in the local art scene, http://www.readingart.org/index.php .
