Hitching Post 50th Anniversary This Weekend

Celebrate the Hitching Post's 50th Anniversary this weekend at the store.

Celebrate the Hitching Post's 50th Birthday this weekend. The store is holding an Open House with specials, refreshments and entertainment for kids to mark this milestone.

The gift store was originally opened in 1962 by Reading resident Ann Wright. This year, they celebrate 50 years of being open in town.

Stop by the store between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday for the festivities. They will be offering “Gold Tag” specials (50 percent off select items) all day. If you spend more than $50, you will get a free gift. Just for attending, you will be entered into a raffle to win a $50 gift certificate.
