"[Perfecto's] is a very nice, high end business, and it’s going to be great," said Community Services Director/Town Planner Jean Delios. "So between that and , that whole piece of property is just going to pop, you’re going to forget that [the sites] were as bad as what they are."

The cafe was approved by the Community Planning and Development Commission (CPDC) in October of 2009, and by the in June 2010. Currently, the applicant is working on construction plans in order to apply for building permits before things can move forward.

The company is also currently dealing with the State to that has been standing in the way of construction, and as long as that is taken care of, demolition and construction should begin in late spring or early summer.
