The Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce is currently looking to hire a new executive director. Julie Higgins, who currently holds the position, is moving on, she said.
According to a recent release, the new executive director must be "an influential professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills."
The ideal candidate will have experience fundraising, event planning, marketing and independently managing multiple projects, events and volunteers, the release said.

Non-profit experience is a plus for the candidate seeking this full-time position. The candidate should also be available some nights, weekends and holidays.
