Win $25 Gift Certificate In Our Shopping Tip Contest

Just let us know about a good deal in town in the comment section below and maybe you'll be this week's winner.

Each week from now until the end of the year, we're running a shopping tip contest.

All you need to do is offer a shopping tip in the comment section below and we’ll pick a winner at random each week.

Shopping tips can include sales or deals on anything: from supermarket bargains to sales on holiday gift items. And although we hope to find out about sales at local small businesses, large chain store deals are fine too.

Each Friday, we’ll announce a new winner, as well as list all of the great deals that were submitted to help you with your shopping.

For this week’s contest, all entries must be received by noon on ThursdayDec. 8 (Eastern Time). This week’s prize: A $25 gift certificate to  in Reading.

Please note: This contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia who are 18 and older. You may enter as many times as you like. All winners will be selected in a random drawing. Click here for complete Official Rules.

(This contest and article are being shared on the following Patch sites: Melrose, Stoneham, Woburn, Wakefield and Reading.)

www.ninathebowgirl.com - an amazing young woman from Wakefield who makes beautiful bows for only $3 each and she donates proceeds to organizations she is passionate about. Avon Store sells American Girl handmade clothes and they are not expensive. She even has a $15 carry case for the dolls. They are also due to start carrying those great stuffed animal hats with pockets for your hands for under $20 - they are $40 at the mall! Rada and J'Adore have great gifts and good deals if you sign up for their facebook pages. Beautiful gift baskets/wooden boxes of wines and spirts at Greenwood Wine and Spirits. Many local restaurants/coffee shops are great for gift cards - Tootsies is one of my favs.

Hey Mark, can we still keep this going to add tips or create a new article where we can post tips about our local stores and what they are offering? I think it would be great if we could share right through Christmas what the local stores have to offer!
Sara Jacobi December 09, 2011 at 02:38 AM
Yes! We're going to keep it all going right through Christmas. We're going to create another similar article next week for people to share tips and get another shot to win a gift card! Mark Micheli will be announcing this week's winner tomorrow (Friday).
