Family Robbed During Father's Wake in Tewksbury

: TEWKSBURY--A Tewksbury family, already reeling from the untimely death of their husband and father, received another jolt when they returned home after his wake Tuesday night. Their home had been burglarized. Tewksbury Police are investigating the break-in at 117 Elm St., a home Wayne Fleury had shared with his wife Laura and their children. 

Residents Hope to Help North Street Homeowner Rebuild: WILMINGTON--On Thursday, December 6, George Bradley’s world changed forever when a fire broke out at his North Street home.

Resident Jenny Connell decided to be a good neighbor and set up a “Give Forward” page called Help George Rebuild. The goal of the page is to raise funds to help Bradley rebuild his home and remain in the North Street neighborhood he loves. 

“My husband and I are working hard to get everything back for George,” she said. “He has been my neighbor for my entire life and I cannot even begin to fathom the toll this will take on a mental and emotional level.”

New Restaurant Joining Wilmington Business Community: WILMINGTON--Hungry Wilmington residents will now have a new option for lunch or dinner in town.

George Rozopoulas met with the Board of Selectmen and received approval of his common victualer license for Rizzo’s Roast Beef & Pizza, which will be located at 3R Church Street near the intersection of Church and Main Street.

“Wilmington needed a cool, hip, up to date place where people can come and grab a bite to eat,” Rozopoulas told Patch. “We always focus on good food, good service and good quality. And that’s what I want to bring to Wilmington, along with hopefully some employment as well.”

Stoneham Schools Employee Allegedly Pretended to Be 14 to Solicit Nude Photo of Teen Girl: STONEHAM--A Stoneham Public Schools employee was charged with posing a child in the nude after he allegedly pretended to be a 14-year-old boy and solicited indecent images from a 15-year-old girl in Maine.

Steven C. Orloff, 47, 189 Potter Road, of Framingham, was arraigned Wednesday inFramingham District Court on charges of distribution of obscene matter and pose or exhibit a child in the nude, said Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone in a press statement.

Framingham District Court Judge Robert Greco ordered the defendant held on $20,000 cash bail with conditions to commit no new crimes, no use of the Internet, stay away from Stoneham Public Schools, vacate his marital home, no contact with children under 18, and surrender his passport.
