Well, it’s a lower chance of rain. Writing “chance of rain” is beginning to feel repetitive, but at least it’s accurate. Weather Underground predicts Reading will have a 20 percent chance of seeing rain today. Otherwise, things should be rather nice—with temperatures peaking just above the mid 70s, though the humidity might be a bit uncomfortable.

Crikey! The Reading Public Library will host a even today called “.” The library will host and demonstrate instruments from the other side of the world. The event will also include maps, artifacts, art work, and puppets.

It’s not quite the jitterbug. The Reading Senior Center will host its weekly class today. The class includes aerobics, weight training and stretching, and seniors can drop in for just $3 per class.

A great slip to New York. On this day in 1988, the Edmonton Oilers traded Wayne Gretzky to the Los Angeles Kings. Gretzky is still one of the greatest hockey players of all time, but, at 27, already held 43 NHL records. The oilers did, however, get three first-round draft picks in the deal.
