Five Things to Do This Weekend

Live music, baseball tryouts and a running group are all on tap this weekend.

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are some ideas:


Where/when: , Sunday from 1 p.m.
Why go: This community event is in celebration of the Week of the Young Child and will feature music and entertainment, crafts, games, snacks, raffles, giveaways and more. The event is free but they would like families to bring an item to donate to the North Reading Food Pantry.


Where/when:, Saturday at noon
Why go: The Reading Bulldogs are one of the premier franchises in the Intercity Baseball League for both on-field success and quality of the organization. The Bulldogs have an open roster spots for the 2012 Summer season and are seeking players with current or prior experience at an advanced level of baseball preferably collegiate or professional.
