Five Things to Do This Weekend

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are some ideas:

Where/when: , Sunday from 1 p.m.
Why go: This community event is in celebration of the Week of the Young Child and will feature music and entertainment, crafts, games, snacks, raffles, giveaways and more. The event is free but they would like families to bring an item to donate to the North Reading Food Pantry.

Where/when:, Saturday at noon
Why go: The Reading Bulldogs are one of the premier franchises in the Intercity Baseball League for both on-field success and quality of the organization. The Bulldogs have an open roster spots for the 2012 Summer season and are seeking players with current or prior experience at an advanced level of baseball preferably collegiate or professional. Why go: Enjoy dinner and live music by The Shotz in the lounge.

Where/when: , Saturday at 7 a.m.  
Why go: Join other residents for a recreational four to five mile run.

Why go: Play a game of chess, or learn how to play. All ages and abilities welcome, but children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
