Five Things to Do This Weekend

A soccer tournament, pancake eating contest, and zumba class are all on tap this weekend.

FALL KICKOFF CLASSIC 

Where/when: Ipswich River Park, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Game times vary.

GO BOWLING

Where/When: Candlewood Lanes, 35 Main St. Friday, Saturday or Sunday from noon to 6:15 p.m.

Why go: Have fun bowling and get some exercise.

Cost: $10 for 30 minutes per lane.

ZUMBA

Where/when: , Sunday from 8 to 9 a.m.

Why go: Get in shape and have fun at the same time.

Cost: Free for newcomers, $10 for club members, and $12 for drop-ins.

FLAG FOOTBALL REGISTRATION

Where/when: , Saturday at 8 a.m.

Why go: Get ready for fall by registering for flag football.

PANCAKE EATING CHALLENGE

Where/when: , Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. 

Why go: Compete or watch 10 people eat as many pancakes as they can. 

Cost: Entry fee is $10 and proceeds benefit the North Reading Food Pantry.
