Friends and Family Day, a championship baseball game and more are on tap this weekend.

Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are some ideas:

Where/when: , Saturday, 11 a.m.
Why go: The Reading Lions Club’s 9th Annual Reading Friends and Family Day will feature activities, food, give-aways, entertainment, FORR Kids Fun Run in the morning and then fireworks at night from 7 to 9 p.m. 

Where/when: North Reading is playing Mt. Everett at Fitton Field in Worcester, Saturday at 3:30 p.m. 
Why go: You can go to cheer on the Hornets, or simply check in with us for our live blog to see how the game is going.

Where/when: , Saturday at 9 a.m.  
Why go: The North Reading Police Department, in conjunction with the North Reading Rotary Club, will hold a car seat check up event for free.

Where/when: , Friday at 7 p.m.  
Why go: The Friends of North Reading Parks & Recreation, Inc. is hosting the North Reading Middle School Dance for middle school kids to end their year with fun, dancing and music. The cost is $10 per child at the door. There will be a DJ and light refreshments available to purchase.
