Where/when: 89 Birch Meadow Dr, Reading, Saturday at 8 a.m. 
Why go: Shop and support the students who want to attend the Science Olympiad National Tournament.

LEARN WOMEN'S HISTORY THROUGHT QUILTS
Where/when: Edith A. O'Leary Senior Center, Friday at 7 p.m. 
Why go: The North Reading Historical and Antiquarian Society will present the Quilt Documentation Project. The program will allow residents to be one of the first to learn of women’s history in Massachusetts through quilts.
