Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are some ideas:

COOLIDGE SCHOOL SCIENCE OLYMPIAD MULT-FAMILY YARD SALE
Where/when: 89 Birch Meadow Dr, Reading, Saturday at 8 a.m. 
Why go: Shop and support the students who want to attend the Science Olympiad National Tournament.

LEARN WOMEN'S HISTORY THROUGHT QUILTS
Where/when: Edith A. O'Leary Senior Center, Friday at 7 p.m. 
Why go: The North Reading Historical and Antiquarian Society will present the Quilt Documentation Project. The program will allow residents to be one of the first to learn of women’s history in Massachusetts through quilts.

JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH
Where/when: Reading Memorial High School, Sunday at 2 p.m. 
Why go: RMHS students will perform James and the Giant Peach.

READING ART ASSOCIATION EXHIBIT
Where/when: Reading Art Association, Friday at 7:30 p.m. 
Why go: Check out the art and enjoy refreshments and live music.

READING COMMUNITY SPRING SINGERS
Where/when: Parker Middle School Auditorium, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. 
Why go: Watch the Spring Singers perform in concert.

Don't forget you can also pick up some great book deals at the Used Book Sale at the Flint Memorial Library Friday night and all day Saturday. And there's the North Reading Community Concert at Town Hall! :)

This is the NORTH READING Patch. Why is there a picture of Reading's high school? And why are 4 of the 5 "things to do" in Reading? If there's nothing to do in North Reading (which I doubt), then just omit this post.
