Five Things to Know Today: April 5

Today is Friday, April 5. Here are five things to know today:

1. Bring your umbrella. The temperature will reach 55 degrees today with a low of 30. Expect cloudy skies and some showers.  

2. Recreation Egg Hunt. The Recreation Egg Hunt was rescheduled to today at 3 p.m. at the Birch Meadow Athletic Complex. The event is free for Reading residents.

3. Country Music Night. The North Reading Fourth of July Committee is holding a Country Music Night fundraiser. Enjoy live music by the Herland Brothers at the Hillview Country Club at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 at the door. 

4. Historic North Reading Post Cards. Check out 100-year-old post cards at the Edith A. O'Leary Senior Center at 7 p.m. Historical Society members will explain each image.
