Five Things to Know Today: Nov. 5

Your guide to Reading and North Reading today.

Today is Monday, Nov. 5. Here are five things you need to know today:

1. The weather. The temperature will reach 44 degrees today and drop to 26 overnight. Expect mostly sunny skies.

2. Election Day tomorrow. Election day is tomorrow. Don't forget to vote at St. Theresa's Parish if you live in North Reading or at Reading Memorial High School if you live in Reading.

3. Reading CPDC. The CPDC will meet at Reading Town Hall at 7:30 p.m.

4. North Reading School Committee. The School Committee will meet at North Reading Middle School at 6:30 p.m. A Little School wall update and MSBA/SSBC update are both items on the agenda.

5. Drop-in storytime. There will be a drop-in storytime at the Reading Public Library at 9:30 a.m. The library mascot Cocoa Moose will attend.
