Five Things to Know Today: Nov. 9

Your guide to Reading and North Reading today.

Today is Friday, Nov. 9. Here are five things you need to know today:

1. The weather. The temperature will reach 45 degrees today and drop to 36 overnight. There is a chance of rain in the forecast for today.

2. Veterans Day Ceremony. The North Reading High School Band and Chorus will perform to honor Veterans in the high school auditorium at 11:45 a.m. The program is approximately one hour and all are welcome.

3. Reading Art Association Exhibit. Stop by the Reading Art Association Exhibit at the First Congregational Church of Reading at 7:30 p.m.

4. North Reading Middle School Dance. There will be a dance for middle school students at the North Reading Moose Lodge from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door and proof of residency is required.

5. Footloose. Watch the Reading Memorial High School drama club perform Footloose at the high school at 7:30 p.m.
