Today is Tuesday, Oct. 30. Here are five things you need to know today:

3. Reading Board of Selectmen and Assessors. The Reading Board of Selectmen meeting and the Board of Assessors meeting scheduled for this evening have both been canceled due to the storm.

4. Trash pickup. Trash pickup in North Reading will be on Wednesday this week. Trash, recycling and leaf pickup in Reading is postponed one day. For more information, please contact the DPW at 781-942-9077.
