Tewksbury Brothers Arrested On Child Pornography Charges

TEWKSBURY—Tewksbury brothers are facing felony child pornography charges after being arrested on Dec. 20.

Steven M. Fierimonte, 43, and Robert C. Fierimonte, 50, were arrested by Tewksbury detectives at their residence at 100 Prospect Hill Drive.

Newtown Shooting Victims Honored at Christmas Eve Vigil in Stoneham

STONEHAM—Dozens of Stoneham area residents attended a solemn Christmas Eve vigil to  at the Stoneham Town Common.

“My heart just goes out to the families, I'm constantly thinking about them,” explained Stoneham mother, Erin Riddell, summing up much of the sympathies of those in attendance.

Between inspirational music, attendees signed up with Sinclair to read heartfelt poems and other words of reflection while a group of Stoneham Middle School students offered remembrance pins and were taking donations to support the victims' families.

January Closing Confirmed for Staples

WILMINGTON—There have been rumors since Staples announced in September it was closing 30 North American stores that Wilmington’s location would be one of the stores shut down. That notion was confirmed on Wednesday as the store will close its doors in about two weeks.

Edder Mora, the manager on duty Wednesday at Staples, said the store is beginning to put together displays to alert customers of upcoming sales as the store will close on January 4.

Stoneham Men Accused of Stealing $50K From West Medford Little League

MEDFORD—Stanley Komins and Stephen Komins allegedly wrote checks from the little league account to themselves, purchased items at BJ's using little league funds and took cash proceeds from the refreshment stand.
