Recreation Egg Hunt Today

Bring your kids to the egg hunt for fun and prizes.

The Recreation Egg Hunt was rescheduled to Friday, April 5 at 3 p.m. The egg hunt is free for Reading residents and will take place at the Birch Meadow Athletic Complex. The event was originally scheduled for March 22, but was rescheduled due to weather and field conditions. 

According to the Recreation Division, children should attend with their own basket or paper bag to put their prizes in. Meet at the tennis courts at RMHS and age groups will be divided. 

Different age groups should attend at different times:

  • Children ages two and three should arrive at 3 p.m.
  • Children ages four and five should arrive at 3:15 p.m.
  • Children ages six through eight should arrive at 4 p.m.
