Snow Slows Morning Travel in Reading and North Reading; How Was Your Commute?

A rain/snow mix has slowed some morning commutes through Reading and North Reading today, with traffic still a problem for many out on the roads. 

As indicated in our Patch traffic map, most of Reading and North Reading's main roads are moving slower than usual this morning.

Google Maps traffic shows similar traffic issues through Reading and North Reading, although Route 128 seems to be moving along (slowly) without too much trouble.

According to the National Weather Service, the snow, rain and sleet will continue through the afternoon with a total of 3 to 5 inches expected. A winter weather advisory is in effect until 3 p.m.
