Car Insurance & Tickets to Avoid

Want to raise your car insurance rates? We didn't think so, but getting tickets like these is a sure-fire way to do it.

People often come into the office wondering why they saw an increase in their insurance and it ends up being an accident or traffic violation. From an insurance standpoint, an accident they think may have been minor ends up being labeled as a major accident due to cost. And on top of that, there are increases for minor accidents as well. Unfortunately accidents can be unavoidable, after all they are called accidents.

Some things we can do that will help keep our car insurance rates down is avoid getting tickets. If you are pulled over for speeding, reckless driving, running a red light, and even distracted driving (this is a reminder for those texters out there), it can affect your insurance rates. Our agents do their best to find an affordable and comprehensive car insurance policy for our clients, but by avoiding tickets like these you could also help. Getting a ticket or getting into an accident is a sure-fire way to be surprised by the amount on your next car insurance bill so be careful and cautious when on the roads!
