Blossoms at the Beebe's Kentucky Derby to be held on April 26th

The 7th annual Blossoms at the Beebe, an
event to benefit the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library and the Wakefield Chamber of
Commerce, will be held on Saturday, April 26th at the Library, 345
Main Street, Wakefield from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Proceeds support Library services, cultural events and the many
Chamber projects that enhance the civic and economic life of our town..

This year’s event
will feature a Kentucky Derby theme. The evening will include The Run for the
Roses - a flower show featuring the talents of regional, professional, and
amateur florists; special musical entertainment in the lobby and on the lower
level; gourmet hors d'Oeuvres; a silent auction; signature cocktails featuring some of the Kentucky Derby's greatest
traditions and libations; and a casino room.

This adult-only, 21 years of age and
over event is always a sell-out, according to Blossoms at the Beebe
Chair Susan Wetmore. Additional information, including auction items and ticket
sales will be provided as the event date approaches.
