Drop-in Chess for all ages & abilities

Chess at the Library for all ages and abilities!

If you have always wanted to learn how to play chess; if you used to play but haven’t in a while, or if you are a veteran chess player who needs a partner, drop by the Reading Public Library.

The Library will have tables set up for players of any ability. (Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult).  Volunteers will be available to teach chess to beginners of all ages.  Come alone, or bring a friend for an hour of fun. Chess sets will be provided. The drop-in program continues the third Saturday of each month at 3:00 p.m. Please call the Library at 781-944-0840 for more information.
