Best Books for Kids 2012

Best Children’s Books Program at the Reading Public Library

Will you be shopping for children this holiday season? Are you a parent, grandparent, or teacher who is always looking for great books to share with kids? If so, you’ll leave our annual Best Books program with a wealth of new titles to try.

At Best Books for Kids 2012, children’s librarians Brenda Wettergreen and Ashley Waring will share their picks of the year which are suitable for borrowing or giving. We will talk about the best new picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, and nonfiction, and give our recommendations on selecting the right titles for your child, family, or classroom.
