Boy Scout Collection to Help Staten Island Victims of Hurricane Sandy

North Reading's Boy Scout Troop 750 is lending a hand to Boy Scout Troop 48 of Lynnfield who is leading the effort with local Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops and community organizations to partner with the Scouts from the Aquehonga District, the home of Boy Scouts on Staten Island, N.Y., to coordinate the donation of needed supplies to families affected by Hurricane Sandy on Staten Island.


Troop 48 has parked a 48-foot trailer will be at the Lynnfield Middle School, 505 Main Street, Lynnfield, to gather supplies  Donations will be accepted from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Sunday and Monday, November 11 and 12 and from 3:00 - 6:00 PM, Tuesday - Friday, November 13 - 16. The trailer will leave early on Saturday, November 17 for Boy Scout Camp Pouch on Staten Island.
