Mistletoe Marketplace Holiday Craft Fair

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Wakefield at 326 Main Street will hold its tenth annual Holiday Craft Fair this Friday evening, November 30, the same evening as the tree lighting ceremony on the Upper Common. The Mistletoe Marketplace will be open from 6 until 10 PM. In addition to an amazing selection of first rate items, there will be plenty to eat and drink, so bring the family and your appetites and do some holiday shopping while supporting local crafters. The church is right across the street from the town Christmas tree.

The Mistletoe Marketplace will host makers of knitted items, jewelry, wood carvings, drawings, paintings, holiday ornaments, herbal remedies and body products, handmade chocolates, and inventive candy bouquets. The Refugee Immigration Ministry will be on hand to sell spring bulbs, and the church will have its own craft table. A new presence this year will be the Arts Collaborative of Wakefield. They will have a wide variety of goods, including stained glass, photography, ceramics, and felted jewelry.

ZuZu's Cafe will be participating in the fair this year. They will have a selection of their delicious sandwiches for sale, and the “UU Cafe” will offer homemade jams and baked goods, as well as hot and cold beverages for all ages. Don't forget to enter to win one of several Mistletoe Marketplace Raffle Baskets, too. Shop local, support local artists and craftsmen, and warm yourself before, during, or after the tree lighting.    No admission.
