Susan Holloway, Director of Music at Old South, has been rehearsing and performing with these musicians and also generously welcoming the entire town for a musical treat for many years.  Old South Brass is made up of 2 trumpets, a trombone, a French horn and a baritone horn.  The musicians Joel Zimmerman, Jim Foltz, Terry Rawlins, Laurie Lafferty and Daniel Walker will perform several classical pieces, and also in duet with the organ.   Ms. Holloway will also share some solo organ pieces.   A sampling of what they will be playing are:  Fanfare by Gillis, Chorale Prelude by Brahms, Promenade and Great Gate by Moussorgsky, Canzona in D Minor by Buxtehude, and some all-time Handel favorites, Minuet in D, Hornpipe and La Rejouissance.

There will be refreshments after the performance.  The concert is free, but donations are welcomed and will be placed in a fund toward the Organ Maintenance.
