Parker Middle School play - Disney's High School Musical Jr.

The smash hit musical Disney’s HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL JR. comes to life Feb. 27-March 1 at Parker Middle School!  Wildcat basketball star Troy Bolton and brainiac Gabriella Montez raise eyebrows among their friends when they decide to audition for the high school musical. Cliques clash and friendships are tested in this modern take on Romeo and Juliet. The students of East High must decide whether to stick to the status quo or break free to find out what’s truly important.  Favorite songs include “We’re All In This Together”, “Bop to the Top” and “Getcha Head in the Game.”

Over 120 students are involved in the cast and crew, and teams of students and parents are working side by side to create sets, prepare costumes, design hair and makeup, master lighting and sound, and prepare the school for this musical.  The show is directed and choreographed by Nancy Katz Stone, with Jenny DiMuzio serving as music director and producer, and Stephen MacDonald filling the role of set designer and coordinator.

Performances will take place at the Parker Middle School Auditorium, 45 Temple Street, Reading, at the following times:
